With a 593-m2 floor area and a seating capacity for 76, the library has a special collection of over 13,000 volumes of books and periodicals, and a number of nonprint materials.
The creation of NISMED Library came about as an offshoot to support the needs of the Institute for information and research. It started with a professional collection of science materials consisted of a thousand books, about 35 periodicals and science teaching aids, some of which were prototypes needed to support curriculum development.
